Trekking, Hiking, Walking and Climbing Adventure Holidays
Trekking and climbing holidays make up by far the biggest of KE Adventure Travel's activity holiday categories, with more than 200 different and contrasting itineraries They are combined as a single activity type on account of their similarities, however they vary greatly in terms of their difficulty Our trekking holidays range from the popular Everest Base Camp Trek in Nepal and the Inca Trail trek in Peru to the quiet Ecrins Circuit trek in the Alps and the remote Fitz Roy icefield trek in southern Patagonia.
KE Adventure Travel has one of the most extensive and renowned portfolios of trekking holidays worldwide. From our earliest days we’ve developed a range of trekking holidays that includes celebrated classics such as Peru's Inca Trail trek, Tanzania's Kilimanjaro trek and the ever popular trek to Everest Base Camp in Nepal, alongside unique itineraries in less familiar areas such as Armenia, Madagascar and Burma. We have a growing number of softer walking holidays with a greater emphasis on the culture, food and sights.
KE Adventure Travel also has a worldwide collection of climbing holidays that includes the ascent of, usually, snow-covered peaks. We refer to these holidays as 'climbs' where climbing ropes, ice axes and other items of mountaineering equipment are used. Our range comprises of big peaks in the Himalayas, like Mera Peak, and Aconcagua, the highest peak in the Southern Hemisphere. There are also unusual peaks such as the volcanoes Cotopaxi in Ecuador, as well as a number of Alpine classics, including Mont Blanc.
