Corsica Walking Week
By: Nancy Martin, California, USA
Sarah was both our local agent and guide. She was very efficient, knowledgeable, fit, energetic and fun. Can't say enough good about Sarah. We wanted to do more hiking than was outlined in the original plan, and she made it all happen. She did extras for us. She was strong and kept us 8 women in tow. It was like herding cats. She's 5 star. The trip exceeded my expectations, which were very high. I loved very aspect of the trip..every day was varied. Hiking terrain was diverse...mtns., forests, lakes, villages, the sea. Our accommodations were fine; the food good. Our days started fairly early, which was good. Sarah is intelligent, organized. loves what she does, where she is and it comes through in such a positive way. The people of the communities we passed through really responded to her and respected her. I organized the private trip; selected Corsica as a destination, and researched who went there. I have traveled with KE 5 times, and all of my trips have been great.
Annapurna Circuit and the Thorung La
By: Graeme Lindley, Skegness, UK
Very well organised trip in all aspects. The leader and guide were very knowledgable and had us well organised. Both Rinji and Kalden were also very knowledgable and passed on info re culture etc of the country. All the accommodation was good. Perhaps one of the lodges could be improved. I can't recall the name of the village but the leader might assist. The lodge had a dining area which was very cold and the rooms here were the worst by far on the trip. Sorry I can't be more specific but the lodge did stand out with the other guests too. One aspect which might help is that guests, on introduction evening are given a form with the leader/guides names written down. Sounds daft, but until few days into it not everyone was calling them by their correct pronunciation. I was surprised by quality of lodges and foods. I was expecting more basic conditions.
Helambu to Langtang
By: Naomi Bold, Manchester, UK
This was a trip of a lifetime the only problem I had was some altitude sickness, but I was expertly cared for by our trip leader. The whole trek was amazing, varied and beautiful scenery. The flight from Langtang to Kathmandu was breath-taking - a wonderful end to the trek.
Everest the Hard Way Trek
By: Kieran Grehan, Wiltshire, UK
I cannot speak highly enough of Phil for his work throughout the trip. In my opinion in this role it is no good just having the mountain skills - you also need the people skills, and Phil had these in abundance.
Iceland Three Peaks Challenge
By: Robert Power, West Yorkshire, UK
The local trip leader John seemed to know everything about his home country, and he was also an excellent mountain guide. I do not think we could have had a better leader!
It was a very active week, none stop, but very enjoyable. I was completely relaxed by the end of the week. I enjoyed the mountain climbing, the wonderful scenery, and the food.
Iceland - Trek the Land of Extremes
By: Jan Gomulski, Lancashire, UK
I was very pleased to discover that Iceland was even more beautiful than I had ever imagined. I really enoyed the different types of landscape, as well as the company of the group as a whole.
Viva Gran Canaria
By: Robert & Helen Evers, Worcestershire, UK
Really good introduction to the beauty and landscape of Gran Canaria. Size of group really beneficial in terms of gauging length of walks and start/finish times for treks. Would recommend this holiday to anyone interested in seeing more than the beaches of Gran Canaria.
Raymond very enthusiastic, knowledgeable and very understanding of group requirements. Really benefitted from his local knowledge to be able to explore off the beaten track trails. very attentive with regards to travel arrangements and pickup points for airport journeys.
Thoroughly enjoyed the variety of trails completed. Enjoyed using locally recommended restaurants and bars.

By: Giles Staddon, West Midlands, UK
Caroline in the office as well as other staff I spoke to have all been very helpful and given excellent, friendly service. The food on the trek was excellent and all the crew very friendly, trustworthy, flexible and good company. I cannot praise Nima (our guide) highly enough. He was attentive, considerate and mindful of our needs and wishes as individuals and a group. His willingness to share his local and cultural knowledge was a joy to experience.
The Druk Path and Thimpu Festival
By: Russell Cargill, Devon, UK
Sengey our guide was brilliant and I would definitely use him again if I went back to Bhutan. Tenzin our driver was fantastic and they both made our holiday very, very special. The porters on the trek again were excellent and the food the cook produced was amazing considering the conditions and the weather. Bhutan exceeded all my expectations and is definitely one of the most beautiful, charming, friendly countries I have ever been to. Going there was a dream come true. We were treated like royalty and made to feel very special.
