Choquequirao to Machu Picchu Trek

By: Wendy Ovendon, Australia

Best two leaders ever - fantastic! I LOVED IT. Excellent health and fitness. Just think grading of trek should be one or two notches harder. Everything was first class and 5 star - the leaders, the crew, all the camping equipment and the food. The remoteness of the trek... I did not want to do the Inca Trail with thousands of people. It was excellent not to see other trekkers for days on end. Got a real feel for the individual communities in Peru. Locations of all the campsites were absolutely stunning!

This Surpassed expectations as the standards were first class - 5 star all the way. The trek was harder than anticipated, from what I understood of KEs grading system. Based on previous KE treks I have done with same grading, this was much harder.

The Ultimate Tour Du Mont Blanc

By: Raymond Bainbridge, Highland

Great experience all round. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Our leader, Keith Robson, was first class. Brilliant leader who gave full respect to all clients and varying level of abilities. Hugely knowledgeable. Tireless in his attention to us and all carried out with a sense of humour.

Design of route was well thought out. Mixture of huts/hostels/hotels just right. Scenery was magnificent. Pity KE couldn't control the weather on last 3 days... Description of tour as "Ultimate" lived up to name.

Traverse of the Cordillera Real Trek

By: David Griffiths, Stirlingshire

I most enjoyed the remoteness and being up high amongst the mountains, along with the lakeside campsites.

The Classic Tour Du Mont Blanc

By: Jean Savage, Kendal, Cumbria

We were a small group which almost immediately referred to itself as 'the team'. We worked hard but it felt quite relaxed. A very enjoyable trip on a classic walk.

Emily Andrew was an excellent leader and being resident in Chamonix we benefited from her additional local knowledge. She inspired confidence in the group and left us with a happy feeling of success as we ticked off the higher route variations ..and she knew where the best cakes were to be found. One of the best leaders I've had.

Better food and accommodation than expected, felt almost luxurious after many years of camping!

Tour del Gran Paradiso

By: Nick Bentley, Huddersfield

The trip met and at times exceeded all personal expectations and it was a pleasure to climb with Klemen Gricar as lead guide. His knowledge and experience are incredible. Assistant guide Rocio Siemens was also great.

Having stayed in tea houses on treks, the mountain refuges were much better than expected. The base accommodation of Yeti Lodge was superb, in a great location with great facilities. The catering at Yeti was also superb!

Armenia's Trekking Highlights

By: Tony Parkinson, Nottingham, UK

One of our best treks - if only the weather on summit day had been kinder.

The trek was even more remote, the scenery even more beautiful, the food even better. Our daughter even got to speak some Russian with the understanding guide and crew.

We have used KE several times before and have always been impressed.

High Tatras Trekking - The Carpathian Mountains

By: Jackie abd Bill Keasley, Frodsham, UK

Peter (Guide) provided an excellent holiday from guiding to caring for us all. His enthusiam was amazing. Hubert who joined us for the Rysy climb was young, with a very pleasant manner and again interesting and enthusiastic. Just what you need on holiday!

A brilliant week's mountain walking holiday. Made by the guide, company, terrain and weather!

Kilimanjaro Rongai Route Trek

By: Clodagh Masters, Norfolk, UK

A life changing experience! I enjoyed most the fantastically cheerful porters, the amazing food and the beauty of our surroundings.

Machu Picchu and the Salkantay Trail

By: Neville Machin, Dartford, UK

I enjoyed all of it, it was one the most enjoyable, trouble free trips I have done. The logistics worked perfectly.

The Salt Plains and Volcanoes of Bolivia

By: Ann Shawley, Sheffield

This is the best KE trip I have ever done out of seven. Even reading the dossier did not prepare me for the wonderful time I had.

The staff and fellow travellers were great. Ivan (the guide) was outstanding - the best guide I've ever had on a KE trip - and the mixture of culture and trekking was spot on.

This is going to be a hard one to follow.
