Toubkal Ascent - Morocco Family Adventure

By: Nick Hill, Wolverhampton, UK

The holiday was excellent and met all expectations. My most enjoyed part of the holiday was the leader's contribution and his dealing with the needs of a 9 & 11 year old on the trip.

Morocco Family Holiday - Camels on the Beach

By: Marlene Nowick, Valemount, Canada

Mohamed did a great job of leader in a respects - from the day-to-day logistics of operating a trek to the care of the group and support staff. Everything seemed to run smoothly and service impeccable . Mohamed was super good with the kids, playful and eager to amuse them and always present to converse with the adults.

Our four-person trekking crew worked together in performing their own duties and helping each other to get the job done as well as being friendly with the clients and the children.

I felt the length of the 5-day trek and the length of each walking day perfect for the age group. Walking was nicely broken up with plenty of playtime in th e water to keep the kids cool and delighted.

Les Petits Caravaniers - Family Adventure Trek

By: Ray Green, Oldham, UK

Exceeded expectations - the trip was excellent, the final night in the Berber tents was magical. The trek took in different aspects each day and the landscape each day changed. The food was great -good quality and plenty of it! The experience was great, local knowledge of guide was great. Joining with the french families gave the holiday an extra twist, with the bonus of improving our French.

Moroccan Magic - Family Adventure

By: Catherine Boeckmann, Surrey, UK

All excellent especially no hard sell; seemed higher quality than other companies, but still priced well. Liked the mix and variety. Nice quality and trustworthy guide. Food quality and quantity way above expectations.

Our child said it was his best holiday ever.

Family Holiday in Thailand - Bamboo and Buddhas

By: Rhys Hughes, Dunbartonshire, KE

Sart was an incredible tour guide. He was great with the kids and adjusted plans to our needs brilliantly. He is a real asset to this trip. A great mix of activities and adventure with great local guides. All really great fun and we have amazing memories. Most enjoyed: Elephant ride, overnight train, bamboo rafting, cooking, cycling around Sukhatil, the day trek, swimming at the homestay, the ceremony at the homestay, Chiang Mai atmosphere and hotel Sart!!!

Family Tour du Mont Blanc Walking Holiday

By: Catherine Hewes, Wiltshire, UK

Everything was great - highlights would have to be the Bonatti Hut which everyone thought was the high point (almost literally!) of the holiday. I would especially like to express thanks for the fantastic meals my coeliac/vegetarian daughter received as we were led to believe this might be a problem but everyone made a huge effort and her meals were excellent everywhere we went.

On the Tapas Trail - Family Adventure in Spain

By: Alison Bretnall, Cheshire, UK

The canoeing was a really good experience. Geraldine, our guide, made the holiday stress free. She was very suppportive and encouraging throughout, and developed an excellent relationship with our ten year old daughter, who now is very enthusiasitic about going on another adventure holiday experience. It is great that she enjoyed it so much.

Family Adventure -Villages & Monasteries of Ladakh

By: Janet Mackenzie, Utica, USA

We loved the time spent in the villages. Rafting was particularly glorious for son age 12 and represented a wonderful change from our other acclimatization experiences. The trek itself was fabulous and allowed hours and hours where we did not see another human being whilst in the mountains. The feeling of accomplishment that my family shared whilst on trek was beyond words. Support staff were superb, absolutely superb. Finally, our Ladakhi guide Jamyang took us to his home for tea one afternoon following an acclimatization hike in Leh. It was a rare pleasure to see a bit of regular life in Ladakh while we sipped a cup of tea.

I was not expecting such an authentic experience in Ladakh. I suppose I was anticipating a rather sanitized, diluted trek with my kids. Much to my pleasant surprise, the trip was a "real" trek and greatly exceeded my expectations. The occasional afternoons with some "down time" were welcome to walk into town, play an impromptu game of cricket, or write in my travel journal. The time in Delhi/Agra was just about right: time to see the sights but not excessive.

My research suggested that KE was a top outfitter for trekking and one of the most hightly rated for family adventure travel.

Sri Lanka - Island Explorer, Family Adventure

By: Alison Liney, Somerset, UK

This was one of the best trips our family has ever done; the itinerary was full and varied with so many different things to see and do. We most enjoyed the beauty and diversity of the country, seeing the animals - leopards, elephants, crocs and being immersed in the country; this was very special.

Asanga was a great trip leader. He was so knowledgeable and thoughtful. He showed us his beautiful country and shared so much with us - he kept us very well informed and I don't think there was a question he didn't know the answer to.
