Toubkal Ascent - Morocco Family Adventure
By: Nick Hill, Wolverhampton, UK
The holiday was excellent and met all expectations. My most enjoyed part of the holiday was the leader's contribution and his dealing with the needs of a 9 & 11 year old on the trip.
101 Smiles on the Dalmatian Coast, Family Croatia
By: Lisa Ansara, Massachusetts, USA
Tomi was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable of both the region and the history. He was always on time and took the tour at our pace. The tour itself was perfect for our family. We give him a big thumbs up!
The balance of activity with the tour and down time with just the family was perfect. We greatly enjoyed the time in the villages visiting local farms and families. My son loved the bike ride, my husband loved the hike through the old railroad, my daughter loved the farm and winery and I loved the kayaking.
We had an amazing time and highly recommend both Croatia as a destination and KE travel.
Family Holiday in Thailand - Bamboo and Buddhas
By: Rhys Hughes, Dunbartonshire, KE
Sart was an incredible tour guide. He was great with the kids and adjusted plans to our needs brilliantly. He is a real asset to this trip. A great mix of activities and adventure with great local guides. All really great fun and we have amazing memories. Most enjoyed: Elephant ride, overnight train, bamboo rafting, cooking, cycling around Sukhatil, the day trek, swimming at the homestay, the ceremony at the homestay, Chiang Mai atmosphere and hotel Sart!!!
Winter Wonderland - Sweden Family Adventure
By: Elizabeth A Wickham, Kent, UK
was an action-packed programme of activities which provided everyone with new
and exciting experiences. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and the
food was typically regional and beautifully presented.
This was an ideal family adventure holiday, with a varied and lively programme of activities, which provided us all (aged 8 to nearly 70) with new and exciting experiences.
We loved venturing out into the vast Arctic winterland on snowmobiles, fishing through holes in the thick ice on a lake, hurtling along the forest tracks on husky-drawn sleighs (everyone's favourite activity), snow-shoeing at night and again in the daytime for a forest picnic (our optional add-on for the last day), learning about the Sami way of life from a reindeer herder, visiting the famous Ice Hotel - well, everything!
Morocco - Bougmez Valley Family Adventure
By: Jennifer Staines, Hertfordshire, UK
Hassan was a great guide, always smiling and helpful and knowledgeable. I most enjoyed Camping, the scenery, learning about the Berbers.
Morocco Family Holiday - Camels on the Beach
By: Nicola Carr, Hampshire, UK
We enjoyed most the lunch at the Berber house, the Marrakech guided tour and the remote beaches. We had a brilliant time with a super crew who really looked after us.
Les Petits Caravaniers - Family Adventure Trek
By: Rob Worth, North Yorkshire, England
Everything was well described, we got exactly what the brochure/website said we would.Very roomy hotel accommodation as we used an Apart-Hotel in Marrakech, which meant we had plenty of room to unpack/pack with 3 in a room. Tents for two were fine on trek. Then the 'fixed' camp on the last night in the desert was great fun, the mini chalets were roomy and comfortable. The crew cooked very good meals, lunch particularly was very well presented bearing in mind the conditions under which they had to prepare it, also we are vegetarians, and there was never a problem in this respect. All transport arrived on time and the vehicles were roomy and in good condition (with seat belts).Mohamed was great, very patient, treated the 9 kids very well, spoke excellent French and English so all clients knew what was going on and when, where we were going, what we would see etc.
Moroccan Magic - Family Adventure
By: Vivienne Clements, Derbyshire, UK
M'stafa was an excellent leader, he was not only informative, in a non-pushy way, but also great fun to have around. He was fantastic with the children, always have a fun game to play, or puzzle to occupy them. All in all M'stafa made the holiday one of the best we have ever had!
The trekking in the mountains was stunning, topped off with a refreshing drink at a Casbah. M'stafa, our tour leader, was absolutely fantastic, I fear that we tired him out, but he always lit up the room with his sunny temperament. Thank you!
Family Tour du Mont Blanc Walking Holiday
By: Catherine Hewes, Wiltshire, UK
Everything was great - highlights would have to be the Bonatti Hut which everyone thought was the high point (almost literally!) of the holiday. I would especially like to express thanks for the fantastic meals my coeliac/vegetarian daughter received as we were led to believe this might be a problem but everyone made a huge effort and her meals were excellent everywhere we went.
On the Tapas Trail - Family Adventure in Spain
By: Alison Bretnall, Cheshire, UK
The canoeing was a really good experience. Geraldine, our guide, made the holiday stress free. She was very suppportive and encouraging throughout, and developed an excellent relationship with our ten year old daughter, who now is very enthusiasitic about going on another adventure holiday experience. It is great that she enjoyed it so much.
