Tigers, Temples and Taj, Family Adventure in India
By: Kirsten Lynch, Hampshire, UK
We were looked after and cared for so well by Krishna. The fact that you didn't have to worry about any meals and that krishna sussed our love of local food and took us to appropriate eating places and helped us to order.Anand, our main driver was a wonderful asset to the trip.
Most enjoyed - How much we managed to see and do.The organisation was perfect, with flexibility if needed.
Polar Cruise - Antarctica Classic
By: William Cross, North Shields, Tyne & Wear
Julio and his team (trip leaders) were exemplary - keen, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and driven to pass on their knowledge and love of Antarctica and its animal life to us. Antarctica is absolutely stunning - probably the most remarkable place on the planet! It felt like a privilege to see it. If you get the chance - GO!
Polar Cruise - The Realm of the Polar Bear
By: John Dawson, Derbyshire, UK
Walruses. Zodiac excursions on calm fjords under the snouts of glaciers. Being given free access to the bridge of the ship. The day in Longyearbyen was most interesting. The scenery was awesome. The knowledgeable members of the team on the ship. All sorts of subjects were covered. having the use of a small gym on the ship to try and run some of the food off.
While my wife's daughter fell about laughing at the thought of her getting into a Zodiac we experienced no trouble at all as reasonably fit 71 and 69 year olds.
Winter Wonderland - Sweden Family Adventure
By: Elizabeth A Wickham, Kent, UK
was an action-packed programme of activities which provided everyone with new
and exciting experiences. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and the
food was typically regional and beautifully presented.
This was an ideal family adventure holiday, with a varied and lively programme of activities, which provided us all (aged 8 to nearly 70) with new and exciting experiences.
We loved venturing out into the vast Arctic winterland on snowmobiles, fishing through holes in the thick ice on a lake, hurtling along the forest tracks on husky-drawn sleighs (everyone's favourite activity), snow-shoeing at night and again in the daytime for a forest picnic (our optional add-on for the last day), learning about the Sami way of life from a reindeer herder, visiting the famous Ice Hotel - well, everything!
Morocco Family Holiday - Camels on the Beach
By: Rachel Pearson, Cumbria, UK
The week was an experience that myself and my two sons will remember forever. We met some truly wonderful people and had experiences that we would never have had outside of a KE holiday. The local moroccan people are lovely and we really enjoyed living in a musilm country for the eight days. I'm glad the trek went wrong because the experiences we had as a result of the rain were awesome. (But we were really enjoying the trekking and camping too.) Hamid ensured that despite the rain, we had fun.I enjoyed the mix between camping and hotels: the friendliness and company of Hamid and his team: the country with its ethos and beauty: Marrakech, the guided tour and the extra day to explore by ourselves: the beautiful beaches and long walks: the camels: the music and dancing by Hamid and his team to cheer us up in the rain: the ease by which KE made a Moroccan adventure possible and safe.I expected it to be good, but it was outstanding. we lived through experiences that we will remember forever. THANKYOU
I felt completely supported by all the correspondence and the telephone calls before the holiday. The pre-trip information was extremely accurate and very useful. I can't give enough praise for Hamid and his team. They were brilliant, brilliant, brilliant! The rain changed the programme but Hamid and his team made it the best week ever!!
Moroccan Magic - Family Adventure
By: Amanda Mayes, Northampton, UK
The office staff were extremely knowledgeable at the time of booking and incredibly helpful when we had questions to ask about medical care/communication with tour leader with regards to our seven year old. Communication was smooth, efficient, friendly yet professional. Excellent first experience and contact with KE.
The holiday was a perfect balance of experiences, culture and relaxation, providing a varied and colourful taster of what Morocco has to offer. The children thoroughly enjoyed the activities arranged for them and the variety of mountain, coast and city - the travelling time giving them the opportunity to reboot their energy levels! The pace of the the trip was great for adults and children. A very well thought through trip - loved that it was centred around the children and what they could learn about the country. It enriched their understanding and appreciation of how other people live.
Our local agent, Mustapha, was a credit to your company. His enthusiasm, sense of humour and ability to engage the children in experiences beyond those written in the dossier were limitless. His attention to detail and level of care were second to none. It was clear that it was more than just a job to him, but more of a passion. He was fantastic with the children, pulling out magic tricks in the evening and a frisby when on the beach. He had a wonderful rapport with them and went above and beyond what we would have expected from a guide. Mustapha provided guidance when with local people and was informative and sensitive to their and our needs.
I cannot thank KE enough for the experiences it offered our family and the life long memories that our childrne will have both if the holiday but of Morocco. Mustapha brought a little bit of sunshine into our children's hearts and made a big impact on them - and us. If you have some way of recognising employees, his efforts, enthusiasm and dedication to KE is what brought our experience to life. He is an outstanding ambassador for KE.
Family Tour du Mont Blanc
By: Catherine Hewes, Wiltshire, UK
Everything was great - highlights would have to be the Bonatti Hut which everyone thought was the high point (almost literally!) of the holiday. I would especially like to express thanks for the fantastic meals my coeliac/vegetarian daughter received as we were led to believe this might be a problem but everyone made a huge effort and her meals were excellent everywhere we went.
Family Adventure Slovenia - Julian Alps Jamboree
By: Andy and Melanie Ashton, UK
Can't really speak highly enough of our local agent and trip leaders David and Jernij. They made last minute changes to collection and drop off plans to accommodate the group, they sorted out all our special requests, they were efficient, friendly and knowledgeable on all the activities, they were brilliant with the kids (giving them the freedom and independence they crave at this age and us parents a break)and were good fun to spend time with. They were also flexible with timings and arrangements so that we never felt rushed and everyones needs were accommodated. The lunch food that was arranged was particularly good - especially at the mountain hut (on the hike) and in Bled after the hire wires course. It is the people that make a trip like this memorable and we felt very lucky to have great fun fellow holidaymakers and such good trip guides. We all felt that we had been away longer than the week as we had packed so much in. The activities were pitched just right for the group - there was some challenge for every person on every activity. The adults enjoyed all the fun stuff as much as the kids. This area of Slovenia is also so beautiful, the scenery too is uplifting. We enjoyed all the activities - something to challenge everybody on every one of them. The area of Slovenia - just beautiful, the friendliness of the group. The feeling of freedom from parental control for the children. The holiday met and probably exceeded all expectations. Delighted!

High Jinks in Bulgaria Family Adventure
By: David Baker, Ryton, Tyne & Wear
Fantastic help from the office staff making sure arrangements could be made to suit our flight arrivals. We've never experienced such flexibility from a holiday company before.
This was an action packed holiday undertaken in a relaxed, steady way.
This was the first time we had experienced a "personal" guide as the only family on the holiday. Our leader (Ivo) was very easy to get along with and was great with the kids. He ensured that everything ran perfectly smoothly and that all activities were undertaken safely.
We cannot understand how more people don't book this trip. It is a wonderful week of exciting activity, beautiful scenery and great food.
