Mont Blanc Ascent with Gran Paradiso
By: Tony Bain , Chorley, Lancashire
This holiday was perfect in every way - all information was accurate and staff always willing to help.
Our trip leader was fantastic! Professional, friendly and always available to give advice, or time to adapt to the environment, never rushed or felt to be rushed. I can't thank them enough for ensuring that firstly we were all safe and that we all enjoyed our trip.
I most enjoyed walking on the glaciers and scrambling during the training days, and obviously the satisfaction of actually summiting Mont Blanc.
Thank you so much, I will use KE Adventure Travel again, highly recommended.
Chamonix & Gran Paradiso
The training was top class even if I am used to using crampons and ice axes this was a great refresher and well worth doing. The leaders were very supportive.
Bernese Oberland Haute Route - West
By: Peter Curran, Guilford, UK
A wonderful experience: a well structured itinerary with challenging peaks almost every day, tough but manageable.
The challenge of reaching summits almost every day and of travelling on the ice. Also, the good teamwork that built up in the group as the week progressed, and the excellent leadership by guide Kathy.
Kathy was great, listened to group, made good decisions, approachable and helpful, obviously confident and highly skilled in the mountains.
Mexico Volcano Climber Holiday

The trip was tougher
than I expected but great experience on challenging mountains.
Accomodation at our base was superb. Both our American guides were great fun and company throughout the trip. They did everything in their power to ensure a successful trip.
Climb Tent Peak and Trek to Annapurna Sanctuary
By: Bryan Hardaker, Kendal
Best KE trip leader I've ever had. Kept us all informed of what was happening; was a mine of information on this, and other, trips; worked hard to keep spirits up during the first week's bad weather. Specifically for me:- I had not taken diamox with me, reasoning that I would acclimatise naturally. However when I found members of the group had used it previously to good effect I asked Tim about it. I did so I didn't use it. He could easily just have said "I wouldn't take it if you don't know whether there's any side affects"
What next? I have been on a number of previous trips and all have been excellent so it was not a difficult decision to reach. I first heard about you by picking up a brochure outside your Keswick shop.
Climb Ramdung Go and Parchemo
By: Carol Renshaw, Cockermouth, Cumbria, England
A beautiful experience in perfect scenery of snow-capped mountains, attentive guides, efficient and smiley sherpas and great company. The ascent of Yalung Ri brought smiles of joy with it just sitting in the midst of a field of other peaks. Blessed by clear blue skies and an awe of humbleness in such a massive environment. Many thanks to Paul, Steve and Pasang for guiding me through such a wonderful first experience of Nepal.
Climb Mera Peak, Island Peak and the Amphu Labtsa
By: Mike Brenner, London
Charlie was a fantastic trip leader, always in good humour, very safe and made the trip run smoothly. Neil his support was also great and came into his own when the hills got high and steep - both of their levels of mountaineering experience and skills were exemplary
Kilimanjaro Rongai Route Trek
By: Melanie Cannon, British Colombia, Canada
I was impressed with the trip dossier and detailed information sent. Any communication sent via email was prompty answered.
Both Onex and Elias displayed outstanding leadership. I would very confidently recommend their guiding services to friends and family and would jump at the chance to complete another trekking adventure with either. They were knowledgeable, patient, and wonderful to be around. After making it to Hans Meyer Cave on summit night I became ill and very disappointingly had to turn around. I thought my chances of summiting were over; however, the next day, Onex incredibly generously offered me the chance to make a second attempt that morning. He went far far far beyond what I expected in a guide and I am so very grateful that I was able to summit with him. I would recommend both him and Elias as guides in a heartbeat.
The trip greatly surpassed all of my expectations.
Thank-you so much for a wonderful trip!
Peaks and Passes of Nepal - Mera to the Rolwaling
By: William Budd, London
Ade was an excellent leader with a strong sense of responsibility for the safety and health of all trip members. It was a long trip and would have tested most leaders patience! Ade was always in good spirits and gave consistently excellent support and instruction. I was very impressed.
What I enjoyed the most - Spectacular scenery, good company, an excellent leader. The isolation and the walk up to/crossing of the Amphu Labtsa. Summiting on Island Peak!
Mera Peak Climb
By: David Davidson, Glasgow, UK
My whole experience was a positive one through the booking process to the organisation of flights and meeting the people involved in Nepal, everyone was positive and helpful - a first rate and a superb service.
During the trek from Lukla out towards Mera Peak I became unwell. The decision for me to return to Lukla was made and again the organisation was done with no fuss, I returned to Lukla where the local agent representative met me and organised my flight back to Kathmandu that afternoon. KE Adventure Travel then very quickly re-arranged my flights home. I can only say good things happened in the background to get me off the mountain and home safely and in a timely manner, it was good to know the back room support and concern for my wellbeing was focused in all the right areas.
