Zulu Warriors - South Africa Family Safari Holiday

By: Tim & Cathy Hooper, Keswick, UK - Private Group

I had not expected that our guide would be so knowledgeable and personable. This created an exciting atmosphere in which we all shared. He was a hit with our family and we have invited him to stay with us. He is a great ambassador for your trips.

Most enjoyed - The game drives in the Kruger, enjoyed the variety. The Drakensburg

Costa Rica - Walks and Wildlife Adventure Holiday

By: Nan Pratt, Swindon, UK

I am thrilled with this holiday. It gave an excellent and varied introduction to Costa Rica. Wonderful!

The aspects I most enjoyed were: variety of locations from tropical rainforest to 'alpine' conditions, quality of our leader, different types of accommodation, including log cabins - particularly close to the forests / Pacific / the wild, meeting Ticos, especially those who are endeavouring to improve their lot with ecotourism off the beaten track, swimming in plunge pools, hot springs, the Pacific ocean (and hotel pools), walking through a wide range of ecosystems and landscapes, observing birds, mammals, sea-life, Gallo pinto! small group, sunsets.

Walter (our leader) was enthusiastic to show us as much as possible. His knowledge of wildlife and love of his country are exemplary. He appreciated our different needs and interests and tried effectively to engage us all.

There was even more diverse habitats than I expected. The level of walking was never too difficult - I feared it may have been. This was a superb experience. I loved every moment, even when I was physically stretched.

Polar Cruise - The Realm of the Polar Bear

By: Sharran Davis, Nottingham, UK

I cannot stress enough how utterly amazing this trip was from the start and booking to the end. It was totally amazing, breathtaking and an experience that only comes along once in a life time. I was in tears on more than one occasion and am honoured to be part of the whole experience from the ship, the wildlife, the weather and the staff. Totally, totally recommended!!! Don't hesitate to book, you're in great hands.

Delhi to Kathmandu

By: Nathan broomhall, Shropshire, UK

An amazing holiday a true experience, a holiday of the life time, we did so much in such a small space of time, completely satisfied. I loved varanasi and the safari in chitwan national park, there was such a diverse range of experiences and the overnight train aswell and of course the Taj Mahal. I chose KE adventure because my mother has travelled with you before and recommended you above other competitors, also because i knew that i would be looked after and that all meals were included reduces costs while on the said holiday.

Tigers, Temples and Taj Mahal

By: Derek Weaver, Hampshire, UK

We've holidayed before with KE, and already booked again this year. We've been satisfied before, and brochure (and partciularly website) make things easy. The itinerary is well put together and we had tiger sightings beyond expectation, although large element of luck in this I suspect!

Best of Northern India

By: Sue West, Essex, UK

Very supportive and knowledgeable trip leader who took good care of our welfare throughout with a nice personal touch.

Most enjoyed - Taj Mahal, Ghats, seeing a tiger, local culture.

Bumthang Trek and the Black-Necked Cranes

By: John Rainer, Jersey, UK

Brilliant - I was expecting Bhutan to be basic but it wasn't. I loved the country and would recommend it to anyone. The premium visa charge is worth every penny, particularly if you are a photography nut like I am. To be able to take photos at dzongs and monuments with no-one in the way was a akin to a religious experience given the horrors of mass tourism eveywhere else. I can't rate the local guides Sangay and Deepak highly enough. They were fantastic. They did their utmost to give us the best trip possible given the itinerary given to them. They deserve a medal. Deepak's driving was incredible on some seriously scary roads.

Bumthang Festival Trek and the Black-Necked Cranes

By: Alan Roberton, Canterbury, UK

I had an unforgettable trip.Found the air a bit challenging above about 3,400m, but otherwise had no health troubles worth mentioning! Found the tour of Kathmandu on the last day culturally challenging (Pashupati), but we had had a wonderful first day, having gone out a day early, just wandering at will and soaking up the atmosphere of the city. The whole trip was a magical experience. The people were lovely. Dawa was excellent, as was our driver, Deepak. Much more considerate, on bumpy roads, than his counterpart in Kathmandu!

Only three suggestions: The visit to Taktsang monastery was, in the event, done on the last day not the first, because of our flight times. But actually, it is much better done as a final day than a first. The 'icing on the cake'! As it happened, Day 2 of the trek ended up being rather longer than originally planned, and we camped several hundred meters lower than planned. But this was also good. I would not have wanted to camp only just below the highest point of the day, especially as most of us were finding the thin air a bit challenging. It would also have been a rather short day. Better, as happened, to have a shorter Day 3 and follow up with other visits from Jakar. The place we had supper just outside Wangdue Phodrang was not really up to scratch.

Antarctic Basecamp Adventure

By: Rob Eagle, Somerset, UK

The company are highly experienced in providing polar cruises and the staff they selected for the organisation on the trip and for the multi-activities were of a very high standard.

The snowshoeing short hikes were excellent. Weather was variable but EVERY effort was made to get as much done at many different locations as possible - even a "landing" directly onto sea ice (which the company had never done before).

Most enjoyed - Antarctica! Snowshoeing with my wife in superb scenery. Whales.

Ultimate Uganda - Gorillas & Game

By: Catherine Ephinstone, Buckinghamshire, UK

Moses was fabulous, kind and wonderful driver, he couldn't have been better. And what lovely places to stay at...all accommodation was excellent, never expected the luxury of the game lodge at the Elizabeth Park very spoiling. The parks were so lovely, not crowded a really intimate experience. We saw so many birds. I would recommend this trip to anyone. What a gorgeous place Uganda is. All arrangements went smoothly and there was a good variety of activities. This is the 3rd trip I've been on with KE, all excellent. I chose this trip as it fitted in for my dates...a most excellent choice.
