73-Year-Old Women Scales Mount Everest
Some may fear that as we get older we won't be able to do the things that we could when we were young, but this is not the case for Tamae Watanabe. At 73 years of age, the retired office worker has become the oldest women to climb Mount Everest. Starting in the mid-1970s this remarkable woman has climbed 5 of the 14 peaks that are more than 26,000 feet high.
