Duo wait to see if they break travel record

An ambitious duo is waiting with baited breath to see if their rapid journey around the world has broken any records.

Adrian Butterworth and Gunnar Garfos, friends who had met at Falmouth University 15 years ago, were attempting to visit five different countries on different continents in 24 hours.

Documented by Mr Butterworth, 40, who runs a film company in Bournemouth called Adeila TV, their world record attempt saw them start at Istanbul in Turkey, and then stop off at Morocco in Casablanca, Paris in France and Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic before finishing in Caracas in Venezuela, meaning they saw Asia, Africa, Europe, North America and South America respectively.

Should you be planning on an epic expedition, whether it is a frantic one day whizz round the world walking in Morocco, there is no better way to experience the best the world has to offer than adventure travel .
