Intrepid Fiona goes on adventure of a lifetime
An adventure of a lifetime awaits Cheltenham's Fiona Mackay, who will be swapping the British countryside with Nicaragua for 10 weeks this autumn.
The open-minded 23 year old, who was a former student at the University of Bristol, will be jetting off to the Central American country in October.
In a charitable trip which will see her help build amenities such as toilets and eco-sanitation units, Fiona is to live with a host family from a village throughout the duration of her trip.
Now looking to raise £1,500 for the mission, Fiona will be holding a quiz night and raffle at her local The Beehive, in Montpellier, on 24 July, and anyone with contributions or donations urged to get in touch with her.
Whether it be charity work in Central America or trekking in Nepal , there is no better way to experience the world than pushing yourself to the limit.
