First Indian Tribal Woman climbs Everest

The first Indian tribal woman to ever climb Mount Everest has got a taste for adventure travel  after conquering the great mountain.

Binita Soran belongs to a small village in the Jharkhand district and at 25 she has braved the cold to climb to the summit of Mount Everest. She has had a passion for mountaineering since she attended Lal Bahadur Shastri Memorial College and completed basic mountaineering courses.

The adventurous young woman has had plenty of experience with climbing before and has climbed Mount Stok Kangri under the supervision of Bachendari Pal, the first ever woman to conquer Mount Everest.

The adventure bug has not left Binita Soran as she plans to go a step further by climbing the 7 summits, the highest peaks on all seven continents. Although she faced many challenges whilst climbing the mountain, it was all part of the experience and it really got the adrenaline pumping, something you can experience too on one of our adventure holidays.
