Dumfries Cyclist takes on the Atlas Mountains
Rachael McDougal, a sheltered development co-ordinator, travelled to Marrakech earlier this month with 8 other charity cyclists. They spent 4 days traversing across the impressive Atlas mountain range as well as the challenging Jebel Siroua mountain range.
Although it was a difficult journey, Rachael enjoyed combining exploring a new country with her favourite sport, and has said that she loved every moment of it, right from the picturesque villages to the lamb and cous cous she liked to devour!
If you are a keen cyclist or would just love to explore a new country, we have plenty of adventure travel ideas to satisfy your hunger for adventure, including Morocco which has plenty of history, sights and food to make an incredible holiday.
