Team Saxo Bank, teambuilding in Gran Canaria...as reported by Cycling News ...
The staff and riders of Saxo Bank-Tinkoff Bank bonded last week in the squad's team building camp in Gran Canaria. With 10 new riders coming to the team, from a variety of nationalities, the group competed against each other and worked with each other, "to get to know each other and create a good basis for future teamwork on the road and generally in relation to communication between all levels of the organization."
We think there is nowhere better for an escape than Gran Canaria. Perpetual sunshine, breath-taking diverse scenery and superb quality roads make cycling here such an irresistible experience.
Alberto Contador and the Saxo Bank obviously agree as they spent January training here. Our Tour of Gran Canaria is more than a training camp; it is a superb journey that makes a circuit of this mountainous island. Search out your shorts, there are still a few places left on our March and April departures.
