Where is Albania?
In our July enews - sent out on 6th July we included an article titled 'Albania - Where's that? Well it seems that even we did not know exactly!! We would like to offer our sincere apologies for stating that Albania is bordered partly by 'Serbia', when this should have stated 'Kosovo', an independent country since February 2008!
So to clear up the mystery once and for all....Albania lies just across the Adriatic Sea from the 'heel' of Italy. It has a long and beautiful coastline and borders with Greece to the south, Macedonia and KOSOVO to the east and Montenegro to the north. The northern part is particularly mountainous and this is the focus of our 'Accursed Mountains ' trek, which we are running for the first time this summer. We have guaranteed the 28 August departure and have also seen fit to drop the trip price to a pretty amazing £595.
