KE Leader of the Year 2010
After being overwhelmed with your votes for the 2010 KE Leader of the Year award, we are delighted to announce that the winner is Rob Fraser.
Based in Ambleside, Rob is an experienced traveller and professional photographer whose images we are pleased to have been able to use in our brochures and on the KE website since his first KE trip in 2003. Rob has led KE groups in Pakistan, India, Ecuador, Tibet, Kenya, Tanzania, Bhutan, Borneo, Brazil, Ethiopia, Tadjikistan and Patagonia. In 2010, he led Manaslu and Everest the Hard Way in Nepal, as well as taking a KE group to Kamchatka and 2 separate KE school groups to Wadi Rum in Jordan . Rob is well-known for his casual trekking attire of shorts and sandals, only putting boots on when it gets really snowy or rocky.
