Iceland Week on BBC4!
This week is Iceland Week on BBC Four featuring documentaries on the obscure Icelandic Sagas, a rare chance to witness Icelandic comedy 'The Night Shift' and to see films such as 'Jar City'. A highlight is Julia Bradbury's Icelandic Walk which is being screened on 11 May at 9pm - an absolute must so don't miss it! Julia will be following the route of KE's awesome Iceland Land of Extremes trek , which just happens to end up at the unpronounceable volcano that brought air traffic across Europe to a standstill in 2010. Also pretty unpronounceable is Hvannadalshnukur, Iceland's highest peak, which you can climb as the culmination of our very own Icelandic Saga - the excellent Iceland Three Peaks Challenge.
