Brand New Trek to Burma's Hidden Himalaya
Join our unique NEW trek to the remote Phonyin Razi in November 2012
In Burma's remote northern territory, close to both China and India, a group of snow-capped peaks marks the eastern end of the great Himalayan chain. Almost no outsiders have visited these mysterious mountains which rise close to 6000 metres. So, we are very excited to have been able to set up this exciting new exploratory trek that will take us through the villages of colourful tribal people and then on forest trails to the stunning viewpoint peak of Phonyin Razi (4282m). Including a demanding 10-day trek, a wealth of new experiences and time for sightseeing in Mandalaya and Yangon, this is a unique opportunity to take part in a KE reconnaissance expedition in an intriguing part of the world.
