Laya guides in Bhutan make the grade!
Here at KE Adventure our new generation of local Bhutan Guides have ‘made the grade', and proved themselves to be at the high standard we expect for all of our KE leaders. What does this mean for you - ‘The Explorer of all things Bhutanese'? In a nutshell, it means we no longer need to send a guide from the UK to accompany you on your holiday, thus saving the daily local tax of @ $200 per day and an expensive airfare. Which means you can now enjoy the superb Laya trekking holiday with a fantastic saving of £200.
Choose from our classic Laya & the Bonte La Trek now £2995 land only or from £3825 flight inclusive
or the Laya Trek & Thimpu Festival now £3195 land only and from £3945 flight inclusive.
This quite strenuous 20 day Trek has everything; from picturesque farmland and ancient forest, to alpine pasture and quite challenging High Mountain passes. Spectacular campsites beneath some of Bhutan's most impressive peaks, including Chomolhari and Jitchu Drake, are amongst the many highlights of this trekking circuit. Other Highlights include:
- Crossing the 4900 metre (16,076 feet) Shinge La
- The charming people of Laya
- Magical Descent of the Punakha Gorge
- The refreshing hot springs at Gasa
Our next Laya Trek departs 16th October 2012.
