U-Turn on Solo Trekking in Nepal
Last month we announced that the days of trekking in Nepal on your own and without a guide would soon be over! The Trekking Agents Association of Nepal were planning to put a ban on all solo trekking from this Autumn. However it appears that due to a reshuffle in the Ministry of Tourism, the Nepal Government has made a u-turn on this decision and it has been put on hold for the near future.
Either way it of course does not affect KE holidays, as our groups naturally employ a full complement of Sherpas, cooks, porters and other helpers. Autumn is prime season for trekking in Nepal and over the next few months we have a huge choice of trekking holidays, with many departures guaranteed.
