Flight Information
Booking flights online, directly from the airline, is becoming increasingly easy and usually gives access to the cheapest fares. As a result, many KE travellers now book their own international flights. However, KE Adventure Travel has full ATOL bonding and can book international flights for you if you are travelling from the UK. Please contact the KE Flights Department if you would like us to book your flights. If you book your flights through KE, we will be responsible for this aspect of your travel arrangements throughout. Please note that we cannot book flights with any of the 'low cost' airlines that we recommend for our European trips - these must be booked directly by the individual traveller.
Flight prices
On this website we give priority to land only prices, which do not include the cost of international flights. We do give an indication of the cost of flights (from the UK) against each of our departures. However, this is a guide price only and usually represents the fare available at the cheapest time of year. In many cases, you will find that the actual flight cost exceeds our guide price. We can not generally hold block bookings of seats with the airlines for our holidays.
Land Only Package
If you are purchasing your own air tickets, you should be aware that most of the cheaper airline tickets available for sale on the internet or from low cost carriers are non-refundable in the case of cancellation. For this reason we strongly advise you check the rules of the ticket when you make a flight booking, and check the limitations of any cancellation insurance policy you have. We cannot be held liable, in the unlikely eventuality that we should be forced to cancel your trip, for losses incurred relating to any flight booking you have made yourself. Please forward your full flight schedule including the airline, flight numbers, departure and arrival times as soon as your flights are confirmed.
MAKE SURE YOUR TRIP IS GUARANTEED TO RUN BEFORE YOU PURCHASE TICKETS. Finding your trip status is easy. Real time trip status is on the website. If your specific trip shows ‘Guaranteed' you can (and should) purchase your air tickets. KE also will email or call you as soon as your trip has reached guaranteed status. If the trip shows 'Limited' please contact the KE office to ensure there is space and then book your air tickets.
Booking your own flights
You can book your flights through a travel agent, directly with an airline, or online using a variety of travel search engines and consolidator sites. If you are considering buying flights online, we recommend you make use of flight dedicated search engines, such as kayak.co.uk or kayak.com. While kayak does not sell flights, it quickly searches several hundred regular and discount websites to find the best deals.
Land Only Package plus Flights (UK)
If you are flying from the UK, we can book flights for your trip. If you are joining the trip from the UK and would like to book your flights through KE, you should indicate this on your booking form or contact the KE office to this effect.
