Originally Karakoram Experience, we specialised in taking our early clients on trek in Pakistan's northern areas. Now we take people on walk, trek, climb, bike, discovery and family holidays worldwide. Currently we offer 400 different holidays in 90 countries around the world.
Head office is in the heart of the English Lake District in Keswick, Cumbria. Keswick is a small town with a big personality - not only do we have easy access to the Lakeland fells, we also have an abundance of pubs, restaurants and the award-winning Theatre-By-The-Lake . Whinlatter Forest Trails - perfect for keen mountain bikers - is just up the road and the local fell road passes are a challenge for any adventurous road cyclist. The west coast mainline stops at nearby Penrith making London only a 3 hour journey by train.
Our friendly office team of around 25 staff are widely travelled, but love the Lake District life. With views of Skiddaw and the Borrowdale Valley from our office, we are ideally placed for those who want to work in the dynamic work of adventure travel but also enjoy an outdoorsy, healthy life. All KE staff travel with our groups - we know we are only as good as the travel experience we have ourselves.
We are always on the looking for the right people to join our team. If you have experience working for another adventure travel tour operator and are thinking of relocating to the Lake District, we would like to hear from you. Product managers, flights experts, sales people etc are welcome to contact us. Please send your CV with a letter explaining why you want to work for KE to: firstname.lastname@example.org
