Once you’ve identified the adventures that interest you most, we recommend you download or request the associated trip dossiers. KE dossiers include a comprehensive itinerary and give specific details of the nature and difficulty of the terrain, local climatic conditions, equipment requirements, as well as a reading list and details of available maps.
Through our long experience of exploring the four corners of the earth, we’ve developed a wealth of knowledge on everything from what weather to expect, to the best clothing to take on your travels. So, in addition to our trip dossiers, these Travel Advice pages provide information to further help you select and plan your ideal adventure trip.
As KE clients travel from all over the world, we use both metric and imperial units of measurement on this website, i.e. you will see altitudes listed in metres and feet, distances in kilometres and miles and temperatures in centigrade and Fahrenheit. All conversions are approximate.
If you can’t find the information you’re looking for, or require further advice, please remember you can always Contact Us - one of our experienced members of staff will be happy to help you.
Know Before You GO
As a reputable tour operator, KE has joined the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office's “Know before you go!” campaign. Know before you Go aims to make sure that all travellers abroad are properly prepared before setting out overseas and have independent advice.
The emphasis is on:
Seeking the FCO's advice about the countries to be visited before departure
Having adequate travel insurance
Following local laws
Avoiding taking risks with money and possessions whilst abroad.
To make the most of your trip abroad take a look at the latest Foreign & Commonwealth travel advice at: www.gov.uk/knowbeforeyougo
KE treat the safety and security of all clients as the most important aspect of any trip we organise . We would not run any holiday that we did not consider reasonably safe. Should the FCO advise against travel for any reason, we will contact everyone booked to travel to discuss alternatives. We receive regular updates direct from the FCO and are in constant touch with our contacts on the ground. Please be assured that we follow FCO advice very closely; if you have any questions about what the FCO have to say, please call our office.
