Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Rendezvous at the group hotel in Marrakech. Complimentary airport transfers are provided. KE group package services begin with the evening meal.
Day 2: We make an early start for the long and interesting transfer across the Atlas Mountains and via Ouarzazate to Tinerhir. If we have made good time, there will be the option to ride the last hour on tarmac roads to our hotel in the Todra Gorge.
Day 3: We bike on tarmac to the top of the Todra Gorge, then cut across country on a jeep track to the Tamatattouchte Pass (2800m/9187ft). There follows a superb downhill to the village of Msemrir, then a short transfer to our hotel in the Gorge du Dades.
Day 4: Through the Gorge du Dades to the village of Bou Thrar. Then we zig-zag to the head of the valley and ride downhill to El Kelaa M'Gouna. We finish the day with a short vehicle transfer to our hotel in Boulmane Dades.
Day 5: An initial short transfer to Tagdilt. We then ride across the Jebel Sahro via the Tizzi Tazazart (2270m/7448ft) and into the Draa Valley. Descending through spectacular scenery and by way of the rock pillars of Bab n'Ali, we reach our hotel in N'Kob.
Day 6: A short transfer takes us to the start of the quiet piste road that follows the eastern side of the Draa Valley. We pass through palmeries and tranquil villages en route to Zagora on the edge of the Sahara.
Day 7: After another short transfer, we bike easily from Tansikht into the lovely Draa Valley, passing impressive kasbahs and surprising oasis gardens. Then, after lunch at Agdz, we load up for the drive back to Marrakech, stopping off for dinner at a wayside restaurant en route.
Day 8: KE group package services end after breakfast. Most of the day is free to explore the exotic city of Marrakech. Complimentary transfers to Marrakech Airport are provided in the late afternoon.
