Excellent leadership, Rob is one of the most culturally sensitive leaders I have been with. His attention to detail was exceptional and his training of the local Omani staff is exemplary.

I most enjoyed the Balcony trail, Wadi Al Qashah circuit, Nizwa fort, swims in Wadi Tiwi & Wadi Shab, fish barbecue by the sea.
I got a cold and a stomach bug, but still had a great time!

Leader and support crew very good and agreable; took a lot of trouble to make it a good trip. Gave some good information about the country and history etc in the evening and Majda (who drove the vehicle in which I travelled was an excellent driver and gave extremely good guiding on the visits to Nizwa and Muscat and a good evening talk. Local agent Sasha gave me excellent help in arranging extension programme that met my requests extremely well and I enjoyed this part of the holiday very much also.
The balance between trekking/camping days and the hotel break to visit nizwa was good. Opportunity to eat Omani food and hear about local culture good. Company very agreable. Beautiful views and suitably challenging trekking.

We had 3 excellent guides/support staff, 2 who were experienced in the mountains and one (the first female tour guide in Oman) who provided cultural and historical input. The local agent, Robert, joined us for the last 3 days. They were all excellent 4x4 drivers.
Suleiman and the whole support team were great. My husband broke his wrist on Day 2 - entirely his own fault - and Suleiman ensured that he completed the whole trek apart from day 4 as he couldn\'t do the scramble part. He also gave great support at hospitals both immediately after the accident and also afterwards.
We greatly enjoyed Oman and were struck by the pride the local guides took in showing it to us.

Having done similar holidays with other companies it was so refreshing to have a competent, sensible, fun, mature etc trip leader who you could have a great time with but who made sure everything worked effectively. His continued good humour made such a difference.
If the Oman tour operator is representative of all your tours, we have already discussed with friends that we would use KE in preference to other companies (obviously making sure we prepare for the level of the trip next time!)

A fabulous holiday. Rob and his team were excellent, enthusiastic and hard working. I thought it was very demanding but achievable. Particularly enjoyed the camp atmosphere. The group were easy to be with. A good mixture of walking in mountains, swimming in Wadis and relaxing at the end of the holiday.
