Visa Information
Citizens of the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, UK and most other EU countries, Switzerland, and Scandinavian countries may obtain a 30-day visa by presenting their passports on arrival at the airport in Muscat (Note: The validity period of your passport should not be less than six months.)
Nationals of other countries should contact the embassy of Oman in their own country for further information on visa requirements.
You should have with you a copy of your itinerary as you may be asked for proof of the reason for your visit. The visa fee (correct - Dec 2011) is 20 Omani Rials (approximately US$52.00/£38). This can be paid in US dollars or in pounds Sterling.
