The tropical state of Kerala is locally known as ‘God's Country', making it the perfect setting for a family adventure holiday without equal. It is rated one of the three top tourist destinations by the World Travel and Tourism Council and recently featured in National Geographic Traveller's ‘50 greatest places of a lifetime'. Starting out in Kochi, with its Kathakali dancers and magical Chinese fishing nets, we drive into the Cardamom Hills to explore amongst villages and tea plantations. We then visit the tiger reserve at Periyar for elephant rides and wildlife spotting. A backwaters cruise, including an overnight stay on a comfortable houseboat, is followed by free time on Kovalam beach, one of the finest beaches in India. This is a fascinating family holiday and an endless visual feast, which is sure to entertain and amaze the whole family.
