Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Rendezvous at group hotel. Single timed airport transfer. KE group package services begin with evening meal.
Day 2: Transfer to the domestic airport for our internal flight to Punta Arenas. Drive via Puerto Natales and the Milodon Cave to the Las Torres Ecocamp.
Day 3: Today we drive to Lago Grey and walk to a series of viewpoints overlooking the Grey Peninsula, Mirador Pehoe and Lake Pehoe. Transfer to the Pehoe camp.
Day 4: A couple of hours walking leads us to the Grey Glacier. We have excellent views of the icefield and can continue to reach its foot. Overnight at Pehoe camp.
Day 5: We trek to a viewpoint above the Italian Camp in the Valle del Frances. Then, we descend to Refugio Los Cuernos, beside Lake Nordenskjold, where we spend the night.
Day 6: Today we trek to beneath the Cuernos (horns) of the Paine Massif - along the Paso Los Cuernos - with great views of Lake Nordenskjold. Overnight at Las Torres Ecocamp.
Day 7: A long but spectacular day's trekking takes us to a viewpoint beneath the 3000 m/9843 ft high granite spires of the Paine Towers. Overnight at Las Torres Ecocamp.
Day 8: Today we drive to the Argentinian border at Cerro Castillo and catch a bus to El Calafate. After checking in to our hotel we visit the impressive Perito Moreno Glacier.
Day 9: We continue our journey to the village of Chalten, where we spend the next 3 nightsat a hostal. In the afternoon we hike to Piedra Del Fraile.
Day 10: After a short drive, we trek to a glorious, lakeside viewpoint for Cerro Fitzroy, at Laguna de Los Tres. A beautiful forest trail leads us back to our Chalten.
Day 11: We complete our exploration of Fitz Roy with a trek along the Rio Fitz Roy to reach Laguna Torre, the best viewpoint for Cerro Torre. We overnight at Chalten.
Day 12: This morning we have time to relax before our afternoon drive back to El Calafate, where we check-in to our overnight hotel.
Day 13: We make an early start for the drive to Puerto Natales and onward to our hotel in Punta Arenas. We've time explore the city in the late afternoon and evening.
Day 14: Transferring to Punta Arenas airport we fly back North to Santiago. Tonight we can enjoy dinner in a local restaurant, before returning to our overnight hotel.
Day 15: Flight times permitting there may be further time to explore Santiago today. Single timed airport transfer. KE group package services end.
