Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Rendezvous at the group hotel. KE group package services begin with the evening meal. Introductions and briefing from the guides over dinner. Option for swimming and sauna in the hotel.
Day 2: We take an exciting snowmobile tour through the wilderness, driving approx. 40-60 km and then in the evening enjoy a Finnish welcome party at the hotel.
Day 3: Transfer to Finn-Jann Huskyfarm where we meet our huskies. Introduction to husky driving learning how to handle the dogs and sleds. Return to hotel for sauna, swim and dinner.
Day 4: Start of 2 day husky trek. Lunch is taken around an open fire and we overnight in a cabin in the forest. There is the option to take part in icefishing.
Day 5: We complete the husky tour arriving at Finn-Jann farm in the afternoon. After the dogs have been settled in we transfer back to the hotel. Sauna and dinner.
Day 6: Today we enjoy wintersports around the hotel. In the morning, we will have a snowshoeing tour to the nearby hill of Taivalvaara, then cross-country skiing after lunch. Farewell dinner at the hotel.
Day 7: Free day with optional extra activities including snowmobile touring, downhill skiing or just relaxing in the hotel facilities. Dinner in the hotel.
Day 8: KE group package services end after breakfast. There is a complimentary timed group transfer to Kuusamo Airport.
