Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Rendezvous with the group at Pisa Airport. A single timed group transfer to the trip's famhouse villa base in near Castelnuevo is provided. KE group package services begin with the evening meal.
Day 2: After the short transfer to Terrarosa, we ride up to Campaiana and then take a singletrack route to the top of Pania del Corfino. From here, we enjoy a technical, singletrack and switchback descent back to our base.
Day 3: A short transfer to San Pellegrino and then we ride the Giro del Diavolo trail, climbing Alpe San Pellegrino, before decending to Passo Radici. We take lunch by a lake, before riding on to our accommodation at the refugio at Passo Pradarena.
Day 4: Its a hard start today with a carry climb which then leads to a superb singletrack trail down to Passo Carpinelli. We then ride through picturesque villages en route to a final downhill blast back to our farmhouse base.
Day 5: Today is a free day and after a leisurely breakfast you can choose between chilling out, sightseeing or keeping active. Our guide will advise you abour possible biking routes, whilst kayak rental is also available if you fancy a paddle on one of the local rivers.
Day 6: After a hearty breakfast, we hit the trail for today's exploration of the Garfagnana Valley. Today's ride takes in a mix of excellent singletrack, mule trails and historic trading routes.
Day 7: A short transfer for more riding in the Apuan Alps. Climbing to a quarry, we follow singletrack and traverse the main ridgeline to Passo Fordazzini. The day ends with a downhill rush to Castelnuevo.
Day 8: KE group package services end after breakfast with a single timed early morning group transfer to Pisa Airport.
