Situated either side of the Colorado-Utah border, the red-rock towns of Fruita and Moab are acknowledged as 2 of the world's premier mountain bike holiday destinations. Combining these locations to great effect, this brilliant new mountain bike adventure promises an incredible mix of mostly singletrack trails, regularly described as the best on the planet. Starting out at Fruita, we ride classics like Chutes and Ladders, the Kokopelli Trail and '18 Road' loops such as Zippity Do Da. Moving on to Moab, we bike the Poison Spider, Slickrock and the awe-inspiring Porcupine Rim. The amazing Slickrock, in particular, will give us the chance to fully explore the limits of tyre to rock traction. A free day in Moab will allow us the option to do some rafting and also visit Arches National Park, with its breathtaking collection of rock formations. As an additional element, each of our 2010 mountain bike holiday departures has been timed to coincide with an important annual mountain biking event. In April we will spend time at the Fruita Fat Tire Festival - the unofficial start of the Colorado mountain bike season, whilst in October we will attend the events surrounding the 24 Hours of Moab - a world-class desert enduro attracting 4000 competitors. This classic mountain bike offers an essential bike pilgrimage for hardcore riders.

We run this holiday in conjunction with our friends at Hauser, the German adventure specialists. This enables us to gather together sufficient numbers of like-minded adventurers to get the trip up and running quickly. The cosmopolitan nature of the groups will be an important part of the experience!  The holiday will be led by an English-speaking guide.
