Day 1: Morning rendezvous at the group hotel in Delhi. Airport transfers are provided on this day. KE group package services begin with this transfer. After checking in to the hotel we have a sightseeing tour of the city. Overnight at our Delhi hotel.
Day 2: We take the morning train to Jaipur and on arrival, have the afternoon at leisure. In the evening we visit Choki Dhani for a Rajashtani supper, dances and puppet show. Overnight at our Jaipur hotel.
Day 3: A full day of sightseeing in Jaipur. We visit the Palace of the Winds and the Jantar Mantar, the celestial observatory. We then head to the famous City Palace. In the afternoon we have an elephant ride up to the Amber Fort. On our return to the hotel we also stop off to see the Lake Palace. Overnight at our Jaipur hotel.
Day 4: After breakfast we drive to Ranthambore. Ranthambore National Park takes its name from the majestic fort which commands a strategic location on a cliff in the park, 700 feet above its surrounds. After checking in at the hotel we have a game drive in the park.
Day 5: Ranthambore National Park is best known for its population of tigers and participates in India's 'Project Tiger' conservation scheme. We have an excellent chance to see tigers in the wild. In the afternoon we visit the archaeological ruins and temples at Ranthambore Fort and also visit the Ranthambore School of Art, renowned for tiger paintings. Overnight at our hotel.
Day 6: We have the morning to relax at the hotel before transferring to the train station. It is a 2 and a half hour train journey to Bharatpur, through rural Indian villages. We have the afternoon is at leisure at our hotel.
Day 7: In the morning, we have a cycle rickshaw ride into the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. In the afternoon, there is the option to take it easy or to make a second visit to the park, either on foot or in the cycle rickshaw.
Day 8: After breakfast we drive to Agra, stopping off en route at the World Heritage site of Fatehpur Sikri. The afternoon is at leisure in Agra, before an evening visit to the incomparable Taj Mahal. Overnight at our Agra hotel.
Day 9: We make a second vist to the Taj at dawn, then take the train back to Delhi. We have the use of day rooms at our Delhi hotel, before dinner and a late evening transfer to Delhi Airport, where KE group package services end.
