This Marrakech weekend holiday, photographic workshop includes 3 days of personal coaching and guidance in all aspects of digital photography. We are centre-based at a beautiful riad in the middle of Marrakech's 1000 year-old walled 'medina'. John Gravett, our guide, has for 20 years run the very successful Lakeland Photo Holidays near Keswick in the English Lake District. He has a passion for passing on the skills he has acquired over the course of his career. Marrakech, and in particular its maze of covered streets (known as the souk) and its central square of the Djema el-Fna, presents a simply outstanding mix of photo opportunities. We can simply walk out of our accommodation and be overwhelmed by the vibrancy and colour of a city that is both accessible and exotic. To provide a change of scenery and some contrasting images, we will also take an excursion to the traditional market at Asni. Looking to expand your portfolio? Marrakech is hard to beat!
