Trek & Walk

The trip started out quite tamely but became quite challenging. We were lucky to have perfect weather but it could have been much more challenging in wet conditions. Most Enjoyed - Varied scenery, dry, warm weather in December. Comfortable well placed hotel at start and finish. Good leader and crew. Friendly well matched group. Hassan (The Guide) was an exceptional leader, intelligent, funny, good pacing and care of group, good information and explanation, he made the trip very enjoyable.

Hamid (the guide) was perfect for us - patient, open to questions but not insisting on talking when we just wanted to enjoy Morocco quietly, competently and calmly addressing all minor issues, not pushing us to do tourist shopping. What I enjoyed the most - Hiking in varying terrain. Good, indigenous food. Not over-engineered to keep us amused/entertained. Polite, friendly staff.

Everything about our KE trek was first rate. Hassan, our Moroccan guide, was well informed and infinitely attentive, as was Jabar, our driver/cook. Every detail of the trip went off smoothly and we were particularly pleased at the post-trek advice and assistance Hassan gave us, which allowed us to reach Marrakesh so easily. Aside from the stark beauty of the Anti Atlas, it was especially nice to "have it all to ourselves," as we did not encounter a single other foreigner for the entire duration of the 7 day trip.

The trek in Morocco was wonderful and I have no complaints only praise for all at KE and the team in Morocco. I have voiced these views to friends and will continue to do so to anyone who wishes to listen.
