Whilst day-time temperatures vary between 20 and 30 degrees centigrade, night-time temperatures can fall below freezing in the desert. We therefore recommend bringing a 3-4 season sleeping bag and a warmer jacket such as a down-filled jacket.
Please note that binoculars are not allowed in Algeria. If found they will be confiscated at customs.
