Annapurna Sanctuary Trek

I am sure that without Serena's role as trip leader the holdiay would not have been as enjoyable. This was my first KE trip and if this is a reflection of KE trip leaders I would definetely use and recommend KE in the future. The pre-dawn walk up to Annapurna Basecamp with a clear sky was probably the highlight for me! Overall I think the organisation meant that the trip was very much stress free.

I was amazed how good and varied the food was under the circumstances. Also the hygiene in the circumstances was excellent. The 3 leaders were terrific and the back up crew did a great job and were all very friendly. The pace was ideal as regards to the altitude gain and the route was just the job.

A brilliant trek in every respect! The Annapurna Sanctuary was awe-inspiring, the walk-in and return were heart-breakingly beautiful with ample opportunity to witness local culture close up and the company was great. Thank you for coming up with the goods yet again! The best bits for me were; standing at Annapurna Base Camp watching the sun set, the full moon rise and the sun rise the next morning. The trek was varied in nature and returning via Ghorepani and Poon Hill added an extra dimension. The team spirit and the expertise of the leader enhanced my experience as well.

It was the holiday of a lifetime - the combination of physical challenge, fabulous scenery and getting a look at such a different culture made it really memorable. The food was really good, plentiful, varied and everyone kept in good health. The support crew were fantastic - they made it a more memorable experience.

I always find KE very helpful when I want to book a trip and there's always someone available who's been there and can give first hand information. Given the weather conditions, I don't think anything could have been bettered (apart from an excess of goat one night!) The cook crew were magicians - even conjuring me up a birthday cake, and our sherpas and porters were wonderful! I enjoyed everything - from the superb forests on the approaches to the stunning mountain scenery, the sheer physical exertion and the wonderful company. (I've already forgotten about the agony of all those steps!)

This was an amazing trek. We had a great group and a very professional team. We all stayed healthy and even the weather was perfect! Of course the views were magnificent. I've been on many treks and never had one so trouble free.

Damche and the support crew were all excellent without exception. They made a good trip great. Equipment supplied (sleeping bag) was also clean and very warm. Food throughout was the best I have experienced during multiple trips to the Himalaya. Thanks also to the very nice lady who provided an excellent site-seeing trip around Kathmandu on our last day.

The quality/cleanness of the hired sleeping bag was excellent, lovely and warm. Food was excellent, always plenty with fresh local veg. The support crew I just cannot praise enough, they made our holiday run very smoothly, great people. The holiday was excellent both my husband and I had a fantastic time.

I loved every minute of the trip. The views were breathtaking. The Nepalese people are fantastic. I can't fault the information provided by KE before the trip. From sorting flight times, airlines and dates, to an accurate kit list which meant I wasn't short of anything, but also didn't take kit I didnt need. Gopal(Guide) was the perfect example of how to lead a group. He seemed always alert to what was happening within the group, kept us well informed on the days itinery, Nepalese culture, local wildlife and the dangers to be aware of. His team of of sherpas, porters and cooks were also excellent.

Very helpful staff at Keswick. We most enjoyed the good and diverse scenery. The trekking crew split up to ensure they looked after all the group whether they were at the front or the back of the group. This was our second trek with yourselves and I'm sure it won't be the last. Hopefully we'll get a few friends to join us on the next one.
