One of our best treks - if only the weather on summit day had been kinder.
The trek was even more remote, the scenery even more beautiful, the food even better. Our daughter even got to speak some Russian with the understanding guide and crew.
We have used KE several times before and have always been impressed.

The office staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They handled the whole booking process very efficiently. I also liked the way that all my details were accessible online. A very high standard throughout the holiday. Excellent accommodation and excellent food - both in the hotels and when camping. I also liked the way that virtually everything was included in the overall price. The trip ran very efficient throughout. We were never kept waiting and all the arrangements went very smoothly. This is the first time I've travelled with KE and I was extremely impressed with all aspects of the holiday. It was very well organised, there was a packed itinerary and everything was of a very high standard. After a couple of calamitous trips with another company it was impressive indeed. I would certainly travel with KE again and I'd recommend them very highly to friends.

It was all great, especially the funny old Soviet hotel with the big blue sofas and grand piano in an otherwise large, vacant lobby. In contrast to the lovely new hotel on the riverside, with the pool and good wines and pleasing architecture. The trip was interesting - learned a lot about medieval Armenia. And the quality of the organization, logistics, food, and good company was great! Vahe, the Armenian leader was very good and Alison looked after us all with care and helpfulness. Thanks!

The final days walking up Aragats was one of the best days I've had in the mountains. Quite taxing, but with loads of variety and challenge. I loved swimming in the mountain lakes and the Noy brandy factory in Yerevan was great as well.

Vahe (our leader) was an exceptionally kind and cultured man, who took everyone's interest at heart. He knew exactly how to encourage and give you moral support when needed, but let you do your own thing if you preferred and was capable of it. I most enjoyed the company of the other trekkers; good conversations; the combination of cultural visit with hard walking. All excellent, what more can I add?!

Vahe, our leader, was brilliant. Is there a KE leader award? If so, can I nominate him please? His attention to detail was excellent, covering the country's history, culture, mountains and the walking requirements. His English was first class and still he makes an effort to continue to learn more. For me though, he also had an interest in the flora and endeavored to ensure that I saw what was available and enjoyed trying to identify plants that were unfamiliar. Best KE trip yet in terms of the support and helpfulness of the staff. It lived up to my expectations and beyond. Well done. Thanks for a really good trip.

I'm extremely positive about this trip. The hotels were excellent. The food was great. The mess tent was the best I ever saw, lots of room and light and able to stand up everywhere. Vahe, the leader, is one of the best I've encountered. I'm very enthusiastic about this trip. I like the mix of cultural sights and hiking.

Could not ask for more from the complete support crew. Excellent trip with great grading and a very interesting place.
Most enjoyed - Mixture of culture and walking.
