Trekking the craters of Mount Cameroon
All nationalities need a passport with at least 6 months remaining validity at the time of travel and a visa for entry into Cameroon.
Documents required for visa application
2 completed and signed application forms (obtained from the Embassy or High Commission of Cameroon in your home country)
2 recent passport photographs
Guarantee letter (supplied by KE)
Copy of your itinerary and confirmation of booking
Reference letter from workplace (stating return date)
Last 3 months bank statement
Pre-paid, Self-addressed envelope for return of passport.
UK Passport Holders
A single entry tourist visa for UK citizens costs £59 (payable in cash or by postal order only) and is valid for 90 days from the date of issue for a stay of up to 30 days. Make your application at least 2 weeks before your trip. Applications are usually processed within two or three days but may take longer.
You can apply for a visa in person at the Cameroon High Commission at 84 Holland Park, London W11 3SB (tel. 02077270771). Completed applications should be lodged at the reception desk of the High Commission between 9.30am to 12.30pm, Monday to Friday, except on bank, (public) holidays in England and Cameroon. The presence of visa applicants at the High Commission may be required for purposes of identification. Passports are generally ready for collection within 48 hours. Collection is between 2.00pm and 3.30pm every working day.

US Passport Holders
A single entry tourist visa for US citizens costs $141 and is valid for 90 days from the date of issue for a stay of up to 30 days. Make your application at least 2 weeks before your trip. Applications are usually processed within a three days but may take longer.
