Day 1: Arrive at Siem Reap Airport and transfer to the group hotel. Afternoon at leisure. KE Land Only package services begin with the overnight stay at the group hotel.
Day 2: We ride across country on quiet dirt roads, passing beneath the peak of Phnom Bok to reach the remote temple of Bantey Srei. After lunch, we drive to the sacred Phnom Kulen Mountains to see the 'Thousand Lingas River' then return to the hotel in Siem Reap. 1 to 2 hours walking. Ride distance 30 km (19 miles).
Day 3: We ride into the main temple complex of Angkor Watt and visit many of the best sites. Following narrow trails through the forest, our bikes allow us to avoid the busiest roads and locations. We see the sunset at Pre Rup and return to our hotel in Siem Reap. Ride distance 25 km (16 miles).
Day 4: Another rural ride, to the Roluos temples and the mountain temple of Bakhong. On the former Royal Lane, we can explore the fallen galleries of the lost Chao Srei Vibol temple and its pagoda. Picnic lunch and the chance to relax in hammocks in the middle of the forest. Overnight in Siem Reap. Ride distance 25 km (16 miles).
Day 5: We visit the royal town of Angkor Thom and the famous Bayon Temple, before continuing our exploration, on foot and by bike, to lesser known sites, hidden in the forest. At dinner, we will be entertained by traditional Khmer Apsara dancers. Overnight in Siem Reap. Ride distance 25 km (16 miles).
Day 6: Today, we take a public speed boat cruise through the great Tonle Sap and up the Sangker River to Battambang. En route, we pass through a number of fishing villages. We also have chance to do some exploring by bike and to ride the 'bamboo' train. Overnight at a hotel in Battambang. 6 to 7 hours boat ride. Ride distance 10 km (6 miles).
Day 7: Our exploration today on quiet back roads, takes us to the 11th century temple of Wat Ek, with stops along the way to visit traditional riverside villages. After lunch, we drive to the city of Kampong Chhnang along the Tonle Sap. City visit and overnight in a hotel. Ride distance 25 km (16 miles).
Day 8: Today's ride takes us on a loop through rice fields, lined with palm trees. We take every opportunity to stop in Khmer villages, locally famous for their production of clay pots. In the afternoon, we drive to the Kirirom National Park and overnight at the Hillside Resort. Ride distance 25 km (16 miles).
Day 9: We have a morning ride in the park, following a mix of trails with views that extend to the Cardamom Mountains on a clear day. After lunch we transfer by car and boat to the village of Chi Phat, where we overnight at a local community project homestay. Ride distance 30 km (19 miles).
Day 10: Cycling on dirt tracks in the foothills of the Cardamom Mountains, we discover the O'Malu Waterfall and the isolated village of O'Kay. We spend a second night at the homestay in Chi Phat. Ride distance 36 km (23 miles).
Day 11: Our route today takes us down to Andoung Teuk, where our van is waiting for us. We transfer to the old colonial coastal town of Kampot, where we do some exploration by bike. Afternoon cruise on the Kampot River with optional kayaking and overnight at a riverside bungalow. 3 hours driving. Ride distance 25 km (16 miles).
Day 12: Free day, with a transfer to the coast and a boat trip out to an island in the Gulf of Thailand. Time to enjoy the beach and a swim, before returning to our bungalow accommodation beside the Kampot River.
Day 13: We transfer by private vehicle to the capital Phnom Penh, where we have a city tour, including the Silver Pagoda and the National Museum. In the late afternoon, we board a river boat for a sunset cruise on the Mekong. Overnight at a hotel in Phnom Penh.
Day 14: KE Land Only package services end after breakfast. Phnom Penh Airport transfers are provided on this day.
