Day 1: Arriving in Dubrovnik Airport KE Land Only package services begin with a group transfer to our hotel in the Konavle Valley area, a beautiful region of vineyards located between the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic Sea and the dramatic Snijenica mountains. We meet our guide who will give us a briefing on the week ahead over dinner. Overnight at the group hotel.
Day 2: After breakfast we have a short transfer through the valley to the village of Kuna where we will start our first walk - climbing to the splendid viewpoint of Mount Snijeznica, the highest peak in the region. Returning to Kuna we transfer back to our hotel for dinner. Total walk distance 10km, 540m of ascent/descent. Approx 4 - 5 hours walking.
Day 3: We drive along the coast to the port of Dubrovnik and catch a ferry to the island of Lopud. Part of a chain known as the the Elaphiti Islands, our walk takes us through pine forest alongside the clear waters of the Adriatic before we catch the ferry back to Dubrovnik and then drive along the coast to our hotel in Ston. Walk distance 8.5km, 300m of ascent/descent. Approx 3 - 4 hours walking.
Day 4: Ston boasts the longest city wall in Europe. Today's walk follows the wall for 1km before continuing along the bay to the small village of Broce. We end with a traverse of the hills above the town, returning through fields and farms. In the late afternoon we take a ferry to the island of Mljet where we check in to our hotel in Polace. Distance 11km, 470m ascent/descent, approx 3 - 4 hours walking.
Day 5: A fascinating day of hiking in the Mljet Island National Park. We ascend the highest point, Peak Montokuc and make a circular walk around the salt lakes. In the late afternoon we catch a ferry back to Ston and transfer along the Peljesac peninsula to Orebic where we check into our hotel. Distance 11km, 280m of ascent/descent. Approx 3 - 4 hours walking.
Day 6: Today we walk into the hills above our guesthouse, enjoying views of Korcula Island. Taking a water-taxi, we transfer from Orebic to Korcula where there will be time to look around the medieval historic town centre. Afterwards we return by ferry to our hotel near Orebic. Distance 12km, 240m ascent, 300m descent. Approx 3 - 4 hours walking.
Day 7: We return along the Peljesac peninsula to Dubrovnik where we check into our hotel. We have the rest of the day free to enjoy this beautiful, atmospheric walled city.
Day 8: KE Land Only package services end after breakfast. A complimentary group airport transfer is provided.
