Atlantic Camel Caravan - Coastal Trek
Holiday Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Marrakech where we are met by a KE representative. Complementary transfer to group hotel. Dinner is at the hotel. KE Land Only package services begin with overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: After breakfast we drive to Lmessouane on the Atlantic Coast and start the trek with a 2 hour walk to Amderdiz' in. Camp.
Day 3: Trek with our camels high above the sea to the fishing village of Tafeda. 5 hours. Camp.
Day 4: Starting in a wild landscape of Argon trees and grazing goats, we end the day along the beach to reach the beautiful beach of Sidi Ahmed Assayh. 5 hours walking. Lots of opportunity for swimming today. Camp.
Day 5: Today we pass through several Berber villages to reach the dunes of Sidi me Barek. Camp in the dunes by a waterfall and close to the beach. 4 hours trekking.
Day 6: Trek to Sidi Kaouki beach where we meet our transport and drive 40 minutes to Essaouira. We check into a hotel. 5 hours walk.
Day 7: Return drive to Marrakech and check in to the group hotel. Afternoon sightseeing around the Djemaa-el-Fna and souks, with English speaking guide.
Day 8: KE Land Only package services end after breakfast. Complimentary airport transfers are provided.
