It was all very well organised cant fault it at all well done guys and girls! From start to finish it was all great cant not stop saying how great it was there. Hamid (our guide) was a great leader, lots of local knowledge and interesting information and can sing very well!
Had a great time will remember it forever!

This was my first ever trekking experience and I have to admit having several concerns, all of which (well most of them!!) were allayed by KE's staff in their office at Keswick. They were right, I didn't need to worry at all. I had an amazing time! The scenery (for all it was desert) was quite varied. From small rolling dunes to flat stony (almost lunar landscape, to the magnificent high dunes that we climbed to the summit at New Year. The views from the top was sublime, miles and miles of Dunes rolling out in front of us, ever changing shades of light and dark as the sun set. Walking was not particularly difficult (6 - 7 hour days) but I did manage to get lots of blisters, in boots I'd worn many times before - take plenty of Compeeds! I think this was mainly due to the different movement of my foot whilst walking in sand! Mohammed and his team were great. Mohammed with his humour and knowledge and the others for assembling Camp at the end of the day and feeding us! The food was great. We particularly enjoyed the fresh salads at lunchtime, various tajines and the wonderfully sweet oranges. A ride on a camel completed my adventure in the desert although I have to admit it felt a bit like being led round a rather large beach on a rather large donkey! Still it had to be done especially as one of my 'fellow Trekkers' reminded Mohammed that I'd said I wanted to it at the beginning of the week (happy to oblige) Mohammed ensured my wish was granted! Marrakech is a place I need to go back to and explore properly. To my delight I discovered it wasn't the scary place I'd thought it would be, it was a fascinating kaleidoscope of colours/scents and sounds. My camera never stopped clicking! So 'yes' it was a wonderful experience, definitely to be repeated.
