difficult
Our aim when setting up this trip was too seek out the best and most exciting mountain biking trails in Corsica for a Coast to Coast ride across the Island. To achieve this we recruited the help of knowledgable local riders to provide the best mountain biking experience. The resulting trip is a 377km/235 mile epic adventure - 93% of which is off road - with 7400m/24,280ft of ascent and descent. From rocky coastal paths above the sparkling Mediterranean Sea, to technical singletrack across the high maquis and long ascents and descents though forests, Corsica offers a huge variety of challenging biking. En-route across the Island we base ourselves in Zonza for 2 nights, which allows us the bonus of checking out the fantasic trails in this region.

FAT TYRE ADVENTURE - for mountain bikes fitted with knobbly tyres. This trip will provide a challenge for fit and experienced mountain bikers. Expect long days over all types of terrain including technically demanding singletrack. Luggage transfer service. A support vehicle will not be available. Average 54kms / 34 miles per day.
