My third KE trip. It was excellent and enjoyable in all aspects. Arrival/departure logistics were complete very well with no surprises. Lapka (trek leader) was very personable and caring and ensured that all details were handled very well. He and the sidar (Pasang) ensured that all client needs were met. They made for an excellent trek for me (in my mid-seventies) and we made it to EBC and back without difficulty. KE again delivered a great trip just as was advertized. Thanks!
We were given good insights into the culture of Nepal and the leader carefully identified the major peaks we saw.

What made this trip special was the fantastic scenery, the people, efficiency and great organization, our Sherpa guides took such good care of us, checking that everyone received their meal's and was eating! Yes they notice when you loose your appetite! they are just so kind, lovely and patient.
Our leader was Phurba Gyalzen Sherpa, with Nima Tenzing Sherpa and Lhakpa Sherpa assisting, they all added significantly to the enjoyment of the trek, we all had a good laugh together on the holiday. Having local guides made all the difference, they are fun and informative about Sherpa culture and provide detailed info on the next days hike, they also clearly have a very good relationship with all the lodges we visited; we felt very welcomed.
Hiking to Kala Pattar and Base Camp with a great support team, the camaraderie of the small group of six hikers and the guidance of the expedition leader will stay with me for a very long time. It was a fantastic trip and one I am already recommending to hiking friends.

Organization and Planning by KE was superb. Our Team Leader Phurba Gyalzen Sherpa took time everyday to ensure that each member of the group was coping with the trek and made adjustments when needed.

I spoke with several of the KE staff members prior to departure - all were jolly friendly and informative. Never had such good customer service. Well done!! Ravi Gurun our trip leader was amazing, could not have a better trip leader. I most enjoyed the camaraderie of the group. Ravi Gurun's excellent support, the scenery and the nepalise folk.

I could not fault the organisation of everyone involved at KE. I thought the trip dossier especially was full of interesting and relevant information which really helped to understand exactly what was involved in the trek both for myself and to inform others who were interested in the trip.
There was always someone there, at the airport, at the hotel, for each transfer and so on. Clear instructions and timings given. You never felt you were left to your own devices.
Mingma (trip leader) was always willing to answer questions which really helped us to understand the Sherpa culture and way of life. He was clear about what the plan was each day even if some of his 'easy' sections were anything but! He was meticulous in checking food and kitchen standards. He knew his stuff about first aid and what to advise people to take if they were feeling under the weather.
Despite the intense cold in the lodge rooms which you did start to adapt to after a few days, this was a memorable trip and a wonderful experience which I will never forget. The flight to Lukla, the fantastic views, the Sherpa culture, the lodges, the cold, Kala Pattar, Base Camp, the toilets, the first shower after two weeks, the warmth of the support team, the camaraderie between the five trekkers, the guidance of the expedition leader and much more are memories that will stay with me for a long time. It was a fantastic trip and one I will enjoy sharing over and over again as I show friends and relatives some of the 500+ photographs I took.

I knew the trip would be good, but with the amazing organisation, the great guides and porters, all together with the breath taking scenery, the trip blew me away and exceeded all expectations!
I was very satisfied with both the KE website, and the dossier provided, both are very easy to use and clear to understand whilst being very informative. When I rang with a query or emailed I got a prompt and thorough answer, everyone was very helpful. I am very impressed with the quality of service I received throughout the entire process. The lodges and food were to a very good standard, considering our location! All of the support crew were friendly and helpful, it felt like being waited on hand and foot! They not only provided a great service, but where also fun and informative to be around, very often we all sat and had a good laugh.
Bhuwarn Rai and Nima Tenjing Sherpa where excellent throughout the trip. They not only took all food orders and delivered our food, but where also great support guides on trek. Especially Bhuwarn who kept a great pace and knew exactly when to stop for a rest. I can not comment highly enough on Mingma Sherpa! From the first time we met until we hugged good bye at the airport he was a constant source of information, fun, calm, great decisions, exceptional planning and all round great guy! I could not have imaged doing the trip with any other guide, and could not think of any way of making it better! For me, Mingma made the trip, his decisions meant that we got to climb Kala Pattar and made it to Everest Base Camp, when many other groups we saw did not. Overall he was worth his weight in gold!

The KE staff were extremely helpful and ensured that I spoke with staff who had personal experience of the area.

Some very helpful advice from staff in Keswick. Thank goodness we were advised to take poles. I could not have done without them!
I cannot praise Raj and his team enough. They were so helpful, friendly and encouraging. I don't think I would have got up Kala Patar without Ghandhi! They made the trip even more fantastic than I though it would be.
The team were fantastic. The scenery was amazing. I have never done anything like this before but I loved it (even the really hard uphill bits)!

Trip leader showed concern and interest in well being of all group members focussing on those that needed most support.
Trip of a lifetime. I am pleased that I geared my fitness levels up (and lost 3 stone) in preparation for the trip. I would have found it hard going otherwise.
Most enjoyable? The whole experience. The mountain, the countryside and the people. Good trekking pace and the guides managed the different capabilities of the group. Final night out (group meal) in Kathmandu was a nice touch.

I can't speak highly enough of our local guide Santosh. He's a really friendly guy with an extensive knowledge of the routes, the weather conditions, local flora and fauna, local culture. He added significantly to our enjoyment of the trek. He clearly has a very good relationship with all the lodges we visited; we felt that we were welcomed at each lodge as friends as we were with Santosh. Porters were excellent, so efficient we hardly saw them, our bags disappeared and reappeared as if by magic. Pacing and routing suited us perfectly. I was very impressed with all local arrangements. We were given plenty of notice as to arrangements, and all pick-ups (of which I had several) were ready and waiting before the allotted time. Overall very impressed with the organisation and standard of the trip. Would definitely use KE again/recommend KE.

Santosh, our guide and Karma, our sherpa were both fantastic. Having a local guide made all the differnce, we were welcomed at lodges as though we were family and we had so much more insight into the culture and history of the area. Top marks to Santosh. He checked every kitchen in every place we stayed, had lunch or even just stopped for tea. He was very careful chosing all our food as well so none of our party were ill at all on the trek.

The holiday was the most exciting thing I have ever done. Though challenging in many aspects of altitude and steep climbs, the staff on the trek were so supportive and encouraging every day and always had a friendly smile. The beauty of the scenery was at times breathtaking and peaceful a truly unforgettable experience.

I don't think the holiday could have been any better! The support staff were all wonderful, encouraging and helpful. Wonderful....I have told everyone to go!The scenery is stunning! Although it was difficult to get up on the cold mornings, it didn't take long to forget all about it on get on with the day. I thoroughly enjoyed all the chat and laughter with my fellow trekkers, our guide and all the support staffIt was even better than I expected. I loved every minute of the trek.

This trip is offered by many companies with very similar itineraries. What made this trip special was the people, efficiency and great organisation. Also All meals, pickup and costs are inclusive, this cuts down on a lot of hassle. I was recommended this trip by another very experienced guide from another company.A great effort was made on Christmas day with small gifts, and a delicious meal. On last night Lakpa excelled again with his cooking and birthday cake for a member.

Every time I contacted KE I was really pleased with the response I got - polite, very helpful, if they didn't know the answer they found someone who did, etc. An excellent service.
We really rated our guide - especially those of us who had acclimatisation problems.
Achieving a 25 year dream of going to Everest Base Camp! We were particularly impressed with the complimentary half day tour in Kathmandu - much better that we had expected. Also the quality of the restaurants we visited on our return to Kathmandu. The trek was better than expected in terms of the scenery and the cultural aspects of life in Nepal but much harder than we had expected - thank goodness we had trained very hard in the preceding few months!
Everybody we have met or spoken to at KE in connection with this holiday has helped to make our trip of a lifetime a very positive experience. Thank you all.

I am writing to thank you and the team at KE Adventure for a brilliantly organized lodge trek - we had a magnificent adventure. With KE taking care of all of the details well in advance, we had peace of mind the entire trip knowing that we would be (and indeed were) very well taken care of.
The journey was made all the more enriching due in great part to our wonderful sherpa leader and his team. Our sherpa guides were Phurba Gyatzen Sherpa (leader), Nima Tenzing Sherpa, and Lhakpa Sherpa and I wanted to call them out to KE for their attentiveness and for going the "extra distance" each and every day of our 17-day trek. Perhaps KE works only with stellar sherpas such as Phurba but nonetheless, we felt very fortunate to be in the hands of such an experienced, kind and gentle man as Phurba. He has such a generous spirit...not to mention sense of fun and terrific sense of humor!
Our trek to EBC was truly truly awesome, in the truest sense of this often overused word, and made all the more so because of the care taken by KE Adventure in organizing and engaging such excellent guides as Phurba and his experienced team of sherpas and porters. Many thanks again - I would not hesitate to recommend KE Adventure. Wonderful job!

We have just returned from our Everest base Camp trip and would like to say a big thank You for all concerned for a fantastic trip.
Dowa and Noah your guides are brilliant, they seem to know when you need that little bit of extra help, they were also very informative and the porters well we never really saw much of them, but they do a brilliant job carrying those heavy bags about.
Selin when we returned to Kathmandu he is a gem, spoiling us with those brilliant restaurants, just what we needed after a hard trek as we would never have found them by ourselves and yes we thought we did deserve a bit of pampering.
Thank you all again.
