What can I say about Val? She is just about the most amazing person I have EVER met. She was really attentive to the needs and well being of all the clients and support crew throughout the whole trek. Constantly ensuring that we consumed enough fluids every day to help with acclimatisation, and that we always felt 100%. She made sure we all ate plenty of food, even when we didn't really feel like it, but knew we needed it.
Val was really enthusiastic and not only showed us the majestic mountain scenery of the Himalayas, she took us into the homes of her "extended nepali families", which was a huge cultural experience for us all. I will never forget the families we met. Overall, we could not have asked for a better leader than Val. Her experience, knowledge of the area, and personal friends she imparted upon us, turned a trip of a life time into a life changing trip. I cannot stress enough the huge respect and heartfelt thanks I have for Val, for making my holiday magical.
If I had to rate my level of satisfaction with the whole holiday, I would give it 100 out of 10!! It far exceeded ALL my expectations, and the memories will always live with me.Did I enjoy the holiday??? YOU BET!!

I could not fault Rob..knowledgeable, patient, supportive. When I was ill (as we all were at one point or another) he was up giving medication, advice and care...and then helped achieve our goal of getting over the passes safely and professionally. Definitely would go with Rob. Knew the country, people and environment. most enjoyed the scenery, culture and also the physical challenge...getting off the beaten track to do the three passes was great and along the way some excellent attractions..temple at Thame was a particular memory.

This was an incredible trip. We had a great group, which I know is a blessing when you have this many strangers coming together to spend the next several weeks together! We became like family in many ways...looking out for each other, checking in on those you did not feel well, sharing precious kleenex and toilet paper! The cooks even baked and decorated a cake for a couple who exchanged wedding vows on the trip!

Val was by far the best trip leader I've been with ever! Her knowledge and support in both medical and physical matters was absolutely superb and seeing as I started the trip with the remains of a chest infection and cough I'm pretty sure that without her help and medical advice I might not have made it at all. An all round top person.

Charlie, our leader, is a star and made our holiday unforgettable. My wife and I can't thank him enough for making our holiday so memorable. Charlie was a brilliant leader helpful, kind, very knowledgeable about the area and very passionate about trekking in the Himalayas and yes even he was still blown away by the views during the trip he is a top man. My wife works in the travel industry and has met people from KE at various events and was impressed by what you offer. We then visited your office and where impressed by your knowledgeable staff, whom advised us on our choice of trip.

The route of the trip was great and it was a pleasure to leave the main drag and head somewhat off the beaten track. This led to a true feeling of peacefulness and solitude which is of course one of the things to look for when heading into the mountains.

Phil is an outstanding leader, by far the best I have come across on any trek. Both his technical and people-management skills are excellent.

I cannot speak highly enough of Phil for his work throughout the trip. In my opinion in this role it is no good just having the mountain skills - you also need the people skills, and Phil had these in abundance.

Just want to say thank you again for making my dream come true, the trip was AMAZING!! I would recommend anytime.
I most enjoyed the fact we got off the main tourist paths and saw more than just Everest Basecamp.
Crew: first day of trek seemed a little unorganised but for the rest of the trip the crew (all of them) were just fantastic, so caring, cheerful, full of energy and knowledge. Language never a barrier as we all tried our best. I cannot commend them enough. looked after us so well and even at the end of the day w hen we were all tired they still helped us. They were a cheerful face every morning too.
Our leader was extremly caring and genuinly interested in each of us. Good to talk to and she had a very hard job. On the ball and made quick decisions. At points it would have been nice to walk along individually however this wasn't an option. Only down side was the early starts and on one occasion a heated discussion which she dealt with very well when she had a problem with a sherpa though may be it should have been dealt with away from us but she apologised etc. She really was just fantastic and even though we were a group of runners etc she was so fit and had stamina. When i was ill she helped me a lot but also knew when to leave us alone.
