Trek & Walk

The quality of the whole holiday was excellent and the local agent was very good, polite and helpful. The trip leaders and all the staff were very supportive when I had a bad day and helped me through it to enjoy the rest of the holiday.

I really enjoyed the walking through the foot hills from Jiri, seeing more of the real Nepali way of life. The view from Kala Patthar was breath taking and was the highlight of the second part of the trek

Santosh (leader for the Jiri to Namche part of the trip) worked very hard to ensure we enjoyed this wonderful trek, even though he was forced to push the pace somewhat. Issie (leader for the Namche to EBC part) was excellent in every sense. What I enjoyed the most? - The varied scenery through which we passed - from the foothills to the heights - wonderful and unforgettable experience.

All the information up-front was excellent and proved to be realistic to what we actually experienced. I had prompt replies from the KE staff with useful information/advice

The holiday was excellent. Everything that we could possibly want had been thought of and provided.

The support crew really made this holiday, nothing was too much trouble for them, they were incredibly helpful, looked after us very very well and they made the experience totally unforgetable

Excellent all round, can't fault Ricky in the slightest. He looked after us so well from picking us up at the airport, throughout the trek and then back in Kathmandu. We learnt a lot about Nepal, people, culture etc. that we wouldn't have learned without a Nepalese leader. We had an excellent trip thanks to him - not just the scenery and the walk, but having a good laugh and fun along the way. Thanks Ricky!

We had an amazing holiday. I am 100% satisfied with the holiday provided by KE and the local agent. Very sad to have come home!

The jungle extension was also excellent - such a contrast from walking up in the mountains and it was really good to see a different side of Nepal. The walk before we reached the Lukla to Namche trail was great - seeing that part of Nepal unspoiled by tourists and very few people on the trails. The camping was brilliant - very posh camping with the service! The food was great - Mani, the chef, was a genius with what he produced on 2 Kerosene stoves. We enjoyed trying various Nepalese food at all times of the day, as well as appreciating the "Western" food he managed to cook for us - e.g. the Nak cheese pizza!

Walking up to the Everest View Hotel provided the best views of the walk, although there were so many other good views of the terraced hills, Rhododendron and Magnolia forests etc. on the way.

I just found KE by chance when googling possible trek companies. This looked the best trek of its type.
