The following checklist should help you with your packing. As a general rule, you should always try to keep the weight of your equipment to a minimum.

Insect repellent (DEET)
Sun protection (including for lips)

3 season sleeping bag (Rated to 0ÂșC)
Washbag and toiletries
Antibacterial handwash
Small towel
Selection of dry bags (to keep trek bag contents dry)
Small padlock (to lock your KE trek bag)

Travel washing line
Spare laces

Swimwear (for hotel pools)
Binoculars (for the game drive)
Camera with telephoto lens (at least 200mm recommended)
