Egypt's White Desert Trek
Holiday Itinerary
Day 1: Rendezvous at the group hotel in Cairo. A complimentary group transfer from the airport is provided. KE Land Only package services begin with the overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Visit the Giza Pyramids, then drive via Bahariyya Oasis to the White Desert. We meet our camel drivers and load the baggage before starting our trek. Short hike to our first camp.
Day 3: Trekking in the White Desert accompanied by a team of camel herders. Additionally, a vehicle is used to transport the camping materials from one place to another by a separate route.
Day 4: Over 4 days we visit Aquaba, Wadi Hennis, Ain Khodra, Sahara el Gedim, Sahara el Gedid, el Khabour and the large valleys in the western White Desert. 5 hours trekking per day.
Day 5: Trekking in the White Desert.
Day 6: Trekking in the White Desert
Day 7: The last morning of hiking in the White Desert. We transfer to Bahariyya for lunch and then continue to Cairo. Check-in at the hotel and visit the Khan el Khalili Souq. Hotel.
Day 8: After breakfast, a single timed group transfer to the airport is provided. KE Land Only package services end.
