Winter Family Adventure in Bulgaria
Holiday Itinerary
Day 1: Rendezvous at the group hotel in Aleko ski resort. A single timed group transfer is provided from Sofia Airport to the group hotel. KE group package services begin with the evening meal.
Day 2: We start our winter adventure we a day downhill skiing. A 2 hour lesson is given in the morning for those of us who are beginners. The pistes in this area are mainly easy but there are also some runs for experts. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: After breakfast we are fitted with our snowshoes for some instruction before we head off on a 3 - 4 hour walk in the 'Bistrashko branishte' natural reserve with of Rezniovete peaks. We return to Aleko and our hotel.
Day 4: Today we have a lesson in Winter Mountain Survival which will include building our own igloo or snow hole, how to light a fire, navigation and animal tracking. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 5: The morning is free for optional activities including more skiing or snowshoeing at Aleko ski resort. In the afternoon we transfer back to Sofia where we can enjoy some outdoor ice skating before dinner and a final overnight stay in the group hotel in Sofia.
Day 6: KE group package services end after breakfast, with a single timed group transfer to Sofia Airport.
