The following checklist should help you with your packing. As a general rule, you should always try to keep the weight of your equipment to a minimum.
You must bring the following items:
Old trainers or sandals for kayaking

Basic First Aid Kit including : Antiseptic cream, throat lozenges, diarrhoea treatment (Immodium), painkillers, plasters (band-aids), and blister treatment, Insect repellent (DEET), antihistamine cream and tablets, and re-hydration salts (Dioralite). Glucose tablets and multi-vitamin tablets are a good idea.Sun protection (including total bloc for lips, nose etc.)Water bottles 1 Litre / 1 quart (x2) 3 season sleeping bag
Washbag and toiletries
Small padlock (to lock your KE kit bag)
Daypack 20 - 30 litres (Depending on how much of the kids stuff you will be carrying)
Selection of dry bags (to keep trek bag contents dry)
Headtorch / headlamp with spare batteries

* We recommend you bring a cycle helmet for anyone intending to ride a camel on day 4. Please note that these animals can be unpredictable and difficult to control, and if you wish to ride, this is at your own risk.
