Visa Information
Citizens of the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, UK and most other EU countries, Switzerland, and Scandinavian countries may obtain a 10-day or 30-day visa by presenting their passports on arrival at the airport in Muscat (Note: The validity period of your passport should not be less than six months). Nationals of other countries should contact the embassy of Oman in their own country for further information on visa requirements.
You should have with you a copy of your itinerary as you may be asked for proof of the reason for your visit. The fee for a 10-day visa is 5 Omani Rials (OMR) (approximately £8/US$12) and for a 30 day visa is 20 OMR (approximately £32/$52). The fee can be paid in GB pounds or US dollars.
