Family Adventure on Spain's Costa Verde
Holiday Itinerary
Day 1: Rendezvous at the group hotel in Soto de Onis. A complimentary single timed group transfer from Santander Airport is provided. KE Land Only package services start with the evening meal.
Day 2: Canoe descent of the River Sella. No previous experience is needed for this as the canoes are large and stable. Lunch en route.
Day 3: A morning of pony trekking and in the afternoon drive into the mountains to Enol Lake (1100m) An easy walk of 2 hours takes us to the Vegarredonda mountain refuge (1450m).
Day 4: From the hut we have a walk of 1 or 2 hours to Mirador Ordiales (1691m) for breathtaking views over the Angon Valley. Returning to the vehicle we now transfer to the coast.
Day 5: We make a visit to the 'museum of the Jurassic Period' in Asturias The museum is full of interactive displays - great for kids. In the afternoon we have a coastal walk hunting for dinosaur footprints!
Day 6: This is a free day at the beach for swimming and with an opportunity to hire body/surf boards.
Day 7: Today we make an ascent of Pienzu (1147m) for fantastic views over the Picos de Europa and the coast.
Day 8: In the morning we'll visit a High Ropes Course, a fun way to end the holiday. After having lunch in the seaside town of Llanes we drive in the early afternoon to the airport in Santander where KE Land Only package services end.
